The Sant Llorenç Fair began as a farmers fair  but in 1981 they began to promote the hazelnuts, their local product. Since then it has evolved and they incorporated  other contents which have positioned the fair as one of the best fairs in the region, and one of the oldest in the population.
The Sant Llorenç Fair - Hazelnut Fair is held every year in August, in the weekend closest to day 10 (day of San Lorenzo). There will be activities related to the hazelnut, such as gastronomic- technical conferences, dining, cooking seminars and also about sport activities like a competition hazelnut sacks carriers and others.
This is also combined with activities such as concerts, dances, horse racing. The fair will start at 21 pm in the Fairgrounds from Riudoms.

"La Llavor dels Orígens" offers you a Catalan gourmet menu so you can enjoy a delicious meal at home. Every 15 days, we present a first dish, a main course and dessert on video, to enjoy the authentic Catalan cuisine and you can follow step by step the elaboration of the dishes.

La Llavor de Origens has received the 2nd prize for best wine list, given by the INCAVI (Catalan Wine Institute). Last year we won the 3rd prize.
