"La Llavor dels Orígens" launches new winter cloths with 8 new dishes where to find seasonal products: mushroom soup, beef with potatoes, sepia "a la bruta",... Moreover, in the back of these new cloths, I propose a contest and an activity: complete the puzzle we propose you with the products of winter and draws you most want. Remember that the activities have prize drawings and, you'll find in our section activities and competitions.

From now on, “La Llavor dels Origens” offers you the possibility to buy (on request) their organic lamb (Xisqueta breed), the veal (Bruna de los Pirineos) and their chicken (Penedes black foot).

With its philosophy of making known Catalan cuisine, “La Llavor dels Orígens” will offer the option of a tasting menu of the Catalan cuisine. It will include 10 dishes, 2 desserts. Enjoy your meal!

For more than seven hundred years Bagà (Berguedà) celebrates their traditional “food of the poor” which is always cooked before Carnival Sunday. According to documents in the Historical Archive of Baga, during the carnival days, council members passed by the houses asking for donations in cash or pay in kind, including firewood, to provide food to the needy people of the town and surrounding villages.
So the morning of the 14th of February, local chefs prepare a big paella rice, and for sure people will approach to the square attracted by the smell of the great food.

"La Llavor dels Orígens" offers you a Catalan gourmet menu so you can enjoy a delicious meal at home. Every 15 days, we present a first dish, a main course and dessert on video, to enjoy the authentic Catalan cuisine and you can follow step by step the elaboration of the dishes.

La Llavor de Origens has received the 2nd prize for best wine list, given by the INCAVI (Catalan Wine Institute). Last year we won the 3rd prize.
